Scirocco R folding mirrors

Hi all
Quick question just brought an R and it's great peace of kit. It has bi fold mirrors that turn in when the switch is turned. Can you get these to work automatically when the doors are locked off the key fob

It is my car. It is quite difficult to activate it. VagCom can not do it. Only VCP can. PM me for details.

I can't tell how it has been done, the guy who changed my door controller firmware does vcds and vcp coding for a living. So hè did not give away all the details. But it was a 2 minute job.

The procedure with VCP is not a secret anymore.
I do the same procedure without VCP: I program straight the EEPROM.

Nice and clear video. Witch software are you using yourself to program the EEPROM?
Thinking about ordering vcp, with vcds i almost changed everything possible.

This is the video of my car after flashing is by the VCP, it's a bit different as mirrors open automatically once the driver door opened.

Yes there are 2 options:

1: mirror unfolding when opening door and fold with keyfob.
2: mirror unfolding with ignition on and folding with ignition off.

It is mentioned in the video from Stefano. I have option 1 enabled, LHD. When you park on small parking spots option 2 is better i guess.
