My brand new roc arrived a few days ago, I'm in love!!! :D

Here's a few pics - I have it booked it for a full winter protection treatment with a pro detailer so will post more pics after that.

Yes, loving it - such a step up from my flash red polo which you can see in the first pic. It is currently reserved for someone who is buying it from me.

Bit of an issue with the driver door - there's an annoying rattle near my right ear when driving, it depends on the road surface. I might take it to a different dealer than the one I bought from to have it looked at under warranty if it's still there in a few days. The dealer I bought from is over 100 miles away but there's a VW dealer just a couple of miles away who are supposedly renowned for their customer service. We'll see...

Those looks feel good don't they lol

Such a shame on that noise. I have that noise if I pull into my road and take my belt off it Sounds like a metal clanging on the pillar. Just behind your head at ear level. Hope they fix it for you tho.

If I push the door the noise stops, so I'm taking it's to do with the alignment with the door latch and striker alignment. Hmmm will see what happens.

Strange one Dazza. Still she look stunning. What winter prep is being done to her? Wax or sealant?

Paintwork decontaminant, erm... I forget the rest. ha ha,. It's basically the full works. Full days work and will cost £150.

Ah lol. Probably claying, fallout remover, little polish and maybe a coat of wax. Will do the car no trouble at all.

I've only done basic detailing, would love to get a bit deeper like machine polishing! I'm a bit like you, I like spending time making the car look pretty, so much so that there's not much time to drive it LOL

Surprisingly easy to do Dazza, watched many videos. Bought a das6 pro and away you go. Did buy a paint depth gauge tho to make sure.
If it's raining I try to keep her in the garage lol. How sad am I
Can't get over how beautiful the front end is it red against the black splitter. Love it

If it's raining I'll be putting mine in the spare bedroom! :p

I agree 100% - ever since I saw pics (and not in the flesh because I still haven't seen one other than my own!) I thought the front end looked awesome - the red and black go together perfectly. Plus, the Interlagos alloys tops things off perfectly. I'm glad I chose them and not the 17 inch Long Beach ones which don't do the Scirocco justice.

Think someone needs to start a facelift showroom thread. Unless there is one already I have missed

Had the roc in for a winter protection detail today. Machine polish and Swissvax endurance wax applied.
