Before and After The Stage 1 Revo - Look at That Power Delivery Across The Range!! Very impressed. Did 2 0-60 test runs today and got 5.9 seconds both times, so plus speedo Error looking at around 6.1-6.2 seconds to 60 Not bad for a 1.4!

Image

Carbon Wrapped The Front Grill Using 3M Di-noc - very good stuff, impressed by the results but managed to get another centre grill off ebay for £17 so going to take that to a body shop and get it properly carbon fibre wrapped :)

Image

AAAAnd Fitted :) Adds a real good look i think :)

Will be more updates this week as i fit my Rims, Can also Post pictures of the lights as i changed all of those to LED as well as side and number plate, Springs next week, Hopefully forge blow off valve and rear 20mm spacers the following week, and other stuff in the pipeline:

Looking very good!

What wheels have you gone for?

If you change your mind on the quad exhaust I have a custom 1.4 exhaust for sale.

My tuned 1.4 ran 5.67 to 60 at gti international a couple of years back so it is possible. The progressive way the 1.4 puts its power down makes it particularly good for 0-60 times (gets obliterated then by more powerful 2.0) - the 2.0 struggles to get it's power down as cleanly so suffers 0-60.

On RL ? I've given you exact 0-100 times.

I've raced many times with tuned 1.4 TSI 230BHP and it wasn't as quick as my stock 2.0.

It was whatever timing equipment the drag strip used. Also mine was a 0-60 rather than 0-62 that the 0-100 kmh would equate to.

Well just to settle the argument, at revo, the engineer placed my map over a stock 2.0 tsi, and i had the same BHP and More torque, (think it was about 10-15 more lb ft)
So, its lighter, more torque, and the delivery is impeccable. anything over 70 the 2.0 would obviously beat me, but meh! lol i get better MPG anyway! i reckon theyd be neck and neck through to 70-80 then the 2.0 would pull away, although saying that a type r couldn't get away from me through to 100!

ALSO the Toyo T1 Sport tyres... Wow.

anyway- next update:
