Picked up my spanking 13 plate Rising Blue 2.0tdi GT tonight. :D Over the moon with it, exactly how i wanted it and well worth the 6 week wait!

Will post some pictures up when it's light and not p*ssing it down!!! :mad:

Just one question, in back left hand corner of the boot there's a loose strap holding nothing? any ideas if theres supposed to be anything in there? if so what?

Hi,

The strap holds a bottle (Usually oil) but I'm not sure you get any with a new car.

This must be normally filled with a plastic box with replacements-lights, which is under the strap.

Hi
I thought that strap may have been to secure First Aid box and the the two straps below the boot lip was for the advance warning triangle.

Get some pictures of the new car up ASAP.

Its for the First Aid Kit. In the 3.1 Controls & Equipment Hnadbook in the Glovebox wallet holder.
It holds the little red one supplied separately. Picture of mini VW First AId Kit.

Ok, i'll phone the stealers tomorrow. I should have that as standard then i take it??? or is it a silly optional extra?

Not in the UK, classed as accessory. We don't need to carry one like the other European countries. Part no. is 1K8 093 108

I have a larger one with 2 x safety vests, first aid kit (slightly larger version), triangle under part no. 000 093 059 £18, all in one blue zip bag.

Update,

Just ordered my set of Ultra Lows! Should be with me this week and will be fitting next weekend. Hopefully the weather clears up abit so i can get some photos.
