Re: Facelift xenon retrofit (AFS, dyn. & static cornering)
No then you can leave it that way.
Try to pull out pin 13 and see if the cornering lights stop working.

Re: Facelift xenon retrofit (AFS, dyn. & static cornering)
Take out pin 8 wire of the 14 pin connector. You just connect it directly to pin 11.

Just leave that for now and check if your shutters work with the right wiring.

Re: Facelift xenon retrofit (AFS, dyn. & static cornering)
That sounds right, need to move it to pin 11. The drl is a bit more difficult. You can turn it on by putting side light or drl signal on both pin 10 and 12. And check module 9 coding byte 15 bit 6 drl by seperate lights active.

Re: Facelift xenon retrofit (AFS, dyn. & static cornering)
What is exactly the problem? Yes you have to use the high beam wires from your halogen units to operate your shutters. Pin 8 from the halogen connector is connected to pin 11 on the 14 pin connector for high beam operation, no coding needed.

Re: Window dropped on one side. plz help
There are rubber plugs behind the door card where you can adjust the window position. But it’s quite difficult to get a good alignment. I would advice to take it to a workshop.

Re: Window dropped on one side. plz help
Disconnect the battery and then reconnect.
Hold the window up butttons for both windows with the doors closed. Then when the are fully closed for like 1 second you can release the buttons and the end stops are learned.

Re: Auto headlight sensor
No. The rain/light sensor on the windscreen turns it on and off.
The sensor on the back of your rear view mirror is for high beam assist.

Re: Head Gasket Help
Best is to put pressure on the system and see if you can spot a leak. Some leaks are hard to find. After 450.000 km i have had 2 leaking hoses to the heater core and 1 hose rubbed against the ac fan. But that was not installed correctly. But the head gasket could leak yes. Turbo is only oil cooled i...

Re: The dreaded Limp Mode!
The vgt actuator position sensor is almost all the same across different VAG 2.0 tdi engines. You can find a lot about it on youtube. If the actuator or sensor is broken you can replace it seperately no need to change out whole turbo. Just look for Borg Warner 2.0 tdi turbo actuator and check if it'...

Should be between 0.65 ... 0.85 and 3.30 ... 3.90 V.
But also good to check if the mechanism isn’t stuck.
