Re: How do you rate the sciroccos **INTERIOR** design?

Overall I like it as it's solid, comfortable, functional and cosy. If I had a criticism it's that it's a bit too generically VW and thus a bit dull. Some other makers have some more interesting interiors. having said that though, some of the whacky sci-fi looks of some cars age quite quickly imo, w...

Re: What engine would you have?

I'm also in the dilemma of which engine to get. Either 2.0 tsi or 2.0 170 tdi. Only do about 7000 miles a year. Go to the gym 2-3 times a week that can be taken on a carrageway. 5.5 miles there, 5.5 miles back. Pop into local town almost everyday for business stuff. 5 mile round trip. Every 3 months...

Re: Scirocco "slow selling and unloved", apparently

I saw that comment and thought what a load of rubbish! :( Sciroccos are highly recommended by all auto magazines and internet sources. As they are still holding their value they must be sought after and a good product, an equivalant 3 series coupe loses soooo much value after 3 years! Morons!!!

Re: New or 12-18 months old Roc ?

All those chaps trying to sound clever about VAT are very mistaken. The dealer/customer pays full VAT upon the the purchase of a brand new car, from then on all cars are charged at what is called marginal tax i.e the dealer will only pay tax on the profit margin, don't let them try fiddle you. The d...

Re: Second thoughts on viper

I'm sort of in the camp of VG. I'm so board and sick of seeing white cars. Every second car is white, good looking white cars are getting lost in the sea of poo cars coloured white. How can a citroen c5 estate in white look good! God help me!!! I remember when if you had a white car it was eit...

Re: cold start mis fires on tsi 1.4tsi

A friend of mine is an aeronaughtical engineer. (Gee he's clever) :eyepop: On our many car conversations he said that he wouldn't touch the 1.4, just because of the use of both turbo and super charging. Was chirping on about combustion pressures blah blah. Also chatting to a SEAT engineer and he sai...

Re: Whats the Best or Worst Courtesy Car youve ever had?

I had to take my leon into the garage for service. Was given a car, was a bit cheeky and asked for one of the salesman's ibiza FR. :p The interior is utter rubbish, not a fan of the dsg but the 1.4 twincharger engine was a proper peach. So so quick and really revvy. :vibes: I'm thinking about gettin...
