I have taken off all the interior trim and removed the latch mechanism, stripped it down, cleaned and regressed it and the latch mechanism works manually, but when I reattach it and try to lock the boot the latch gets stu...

I was wondering if anybody has had any problems with their rear seat folding mechanism failing. When you release the rear seat catches both sides move normally to about 5 degrees and then do not move any further.
