I have this exact setup, but with 25mm VWR springs.
The wheel comes exactly flush with the arch, running 255/35R19s on the rear to bring the tyre just inside the wheel well.
It’s like these wheels were designed to fit the Scirocco perfectly!

Re: Opinions on this R?
As a heads up, there are no 1.4 engined 'R' Sciroccos; you'll find a 2 litre TFSI engine in them from the Audi TTs / S3. What I believe you have here is a 1.4 122 engine with an R body kit on. A few things give it away, the wheels, exhausts etc. However, this doesn't mean it's a bad car! If it's bee...

Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
Quick update; rear diffuser and carbon badges fitted. I was really impressed with the fitment of the bumper's aftermarket replacement; although it didn't have 'clips' like its OEM counterpart, the positioning and moulding was spot on! Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
A few bits ordered; first off the Resonator Delete is proceeding as planned. Just need to source some 2.5" pipe and should be golden to get the central muffler removed. Ended up crawling under the car with the Micrometer to be 100% sure of the pipework & sizing! To finish off the back end, ...

Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
Ended up buying Carsita; great bit of kit and ridiculously easy to use! Changed a few of the basic parameters of the car's functionality: - Beep on lock/unlock - 4 x change lane flashes - Fuel required for full tank (next refuel) - Coming Home lights duration - Rear wiper 'extra tear wipe' Some of t...

Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
Yes. I bought those lights a month ago and cut the fog light cable and installed resistors and it works just fine. If you buy the OEM Facelift lights you also have to buy the facelift boot etc for it to fit. Indeed, carDNA is the manufacturer. I think people call them the Dectane lights due to Dect...

Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
The Dectane lights never had fog light problem, it was the Studie R look-a-like lights that had the fog light problem. Ah yes! http://www.vwvortex.com/gallery/albums//Volkswagen/Scirocco%20-%20Corrado/New%20Scirocco/Scirocco%20Studie%20R/scirocco_studie_r_2.jpg These seem to be the ones that have g...

The R is 345/310mm
I believe the GT is 288/255-6mm but just varify it with the good ol' tape measure for extra certainty.

And just like public transport; you wait for one update and two show up at the same time! The Dectane rear lights showed up today, a big thank-you to Tinkythomas who was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Fitting was incredibly simple, a plastic screw removed and the lights were plug-and-play...

Re: Maisonian's Carbon Candy
Following my minor nudge with the arse-end of a wayward Polo, the guys at Veetec Neasden did a simply fantastic job in fixing up the door frame and passenger side. Respray is barely noticeable (the spray was tailored to the inside of the door-shut), the little details weren't overlooked and the staf...

Re: Brake Pads & Discs
If you're looking for OEM standard, Brembo are always good for the money. I went with standard read discs and ATS ceramic pads as a combo.
