Bought a brand new gearbox for my car fitted it and set up all the linkage properly and my car is currently saying its in second constantly and won't come out off it at all any Suggesting's?

Soo all the codes for my car for the gearbox should fit my car it's just different ratios as I thought it would be different fittings and different mount fittings cause ones I have looked at look different from the one I've got

Just got towed home from the aa my gearbox is fucked oil was pouring out off it hopefully it's just the seals but doesn't sound like it so hopefully this doesn't happen to you
