Re: Tapping wiperblades
Mine does this too. But only in cold weather ...?!?! I did the foam/felt mod under the plastic cover around the engine bay but it didn't fix it. I changed for a different wiper blade. That didn't fix it either. It definately stops when the wipers are moving. 2 years with the car and I haven't been a...

Have you tried that wheel yet deacon? Is it any good. I was going to pick up the new F1 game for the PS3 and maybe get a wheel for that. But that looks pretty good, maybe i'll get the xbox version instead.

Re: What Transmission Option would you have?
Totally agree with everyone above. I got a good deal on my car and so DSG wasn't a choice it's just what the car had. And for the first couple of weeks I was unsure, but after that I just loved it and still do. I will always get DSG from now on. Totally brilliant!

Thanks rob. I need to find better locations for taking these pics. My front garden isn't quite as cool as the places you find. Must try harder! Still not bad for a first attempt.

Not a bad race. Not as good as the last one but still good to watch. Another lap or two and Hamilton would have had him there I reckon.

Re: Thinking of having front mudflaps fitted
Hi, Yeah my car is in the bodyshop at the moment having the damage repaired under warranty. Basically I was told after a year or two on the car any dirt and grit between the paint and the mud flaps will have slowly rubbed away at the paint and caused damage. Its is very noticeable and needed fixing....

Re: DSG gear Change
I agree! It took me a month or two to really start to get a feel for using the dsg box. But now I wouldn't go back.
Also I think the system adjusts to your driving style so if its a bit quick to be hanging up the gears, I think a few aggressive drives would start to change how the box behaves.
