I've just had APR stage 1, and I absolutely love it! I don't know if there are any pros and cons for either product, I think it just comes down to personal preference but I'm sure others will comment on their experiences with each!

From personal experience my premiums didn't go up when I was declaring 2 non-fault accidents. So you might be ok

I've always hated automatics, never understand why anyone would want one. I purely chose the DSG for my R because of the miniscule difference in 0-60 times... Best decision ever! I test drove a DSG Golf R, as the dealer didn't have a DSG Scirocco available, to make sure I would be happy with the DSG...

In regards to pin pointing if there is an issue, unfortunately I can't help there but I'm sure one of the other guys who has more experience will be able to offer some advice! Are you using a good quality fuel?

The first 2 replies were in relation to TSI engines which are less economical. I would definitely say you should be achieving more MPG than what you are, unless you race to every set of lights

Is it TSI or TDI? I had the 177 TDI GT and I was getting 42mpg, and that was with mainly town driving with the occasional motorway driving. I don't drive economically either!

Mines currently putting out 22.7mpg, that's with 600 miles on the clock

This makes so much difference to the car! I don't understand why VW don't do it as standard anyway, especially with xenon headlights. Love it! It's definitely on the to do list for my car

I went back and they had forgotten to fit the magic box (or whatever it's called!) and he's going to look into why the camera isn't coming on when I start the car at night. So hopefully I'll be all up and running on Wednesday!

I have the front only cam with the power box so that it can continue to record when the car is off, however when it goes dark the camera doesn't seem to come on at all. The dealers usually have a better tracking system than we have access too, have you spoken to them to find out where you car is?
