Re: High Pitch Resonating Noise
Hi Mitchy, I will contact VW Solihull instead as Redditch are useless. They wouldn't even look at it at first. Had to really push for them to swap the fuel pump. It's currently off the road as a pothole has written off 2 Lugano alloys and VW what £800+ each!!! plus tyres!!! It's due a service next m...

Re: High Pitch Resonating Noise
I sure mine is making the same noise. Took it to VW Redditch who replaced the fuel pump but still makes the exact noise. They are saying it's a "characteristic" of the vehicle. Mine too is a 2015 TDi.

Re: CAR NET/APP CONNECT
I've got this on my phone. Complete waste of time. The only thing it allows you to do is send destinations to the nav. On the eGolf and GTE, you can control aircon, heated seats and the charge status from the phone but this requires telematics with the Scirocco range doesn't support. For the first s...

Re: Newbie MFD Display Question
Odd as this method worked on my 65 plate. Would have been gutted if it didn't work.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
After a year owning a Audi TTS, I missed the my old Scirocco exclusive edition, I bought this beauty from VW Cheltenham. 65 plate and full loaded. In love with it. Looking forward to doing a few mods. Already done the VCDS mods. Big MPH screen a must. Bluefin remap being installed tomorrow to take i...

Re: Headlight Bulb Problem
I had a similar issue a couple of months back. It turned out to be the bulb holder which ordered from VW for about £10. To confirm it, swap the bulb and holder to the other headlight and see if the fault transfers. This should answer it. When I took out my bulb holder out, it had a slight burn mark....

Re: dealer problems
Yeh, I get what your saying but Derby agreed to complete the work without any issues. Warranty repair work should have been covered by all VW franchises. I didn't want to give Redditch the chance to sort it with the attitude they had. At the end of the day, I spent over £20k. Your right though, I sh...

Re: dealer problems
Yeh, said all that to Redditch Service Manager. Not interested in helping. Should have complained but nerver bothered in the end. Expected better from a VW.

Re: dealer problems
No, it's about 12 months old. They said that because the car was purchased from the Parkway dealer (derby), the Listers dealer (Redditch) would not complete the work. They would only complete the work if Derby agreed to pay Redditch to complete the work which they refused. Car had to go back for two...

Re: dealer problems
Have used Redditch VW before. Service team were poor to say the least. Purchased a Black Rocco Exclusive edition from Derby Parkway (wanted the cream and black leather option :) ). When I got Home (Redditch) I found the horn didn't work and the armrest racket broken. Phoned Redditch VW and they said...
