Today I gave my mats a good cleaning, the mats were absolutely filthy. Decided to use that that " Vanish Shake and Clean" and it does an extremely good job, after vaccing the mats looked almost new again.
Thats one cleaning product I shall be keeping in my detailing product bucket.

One thing to consider, you could sell your RNS510 and buy a DAB one for about the same outlay, and have a system which doesn't have a doohickey fix. The RNS with DAB will be able to fall back to FM when it loses the DAB signal whereas the add on won't be able to do so. Hi Viking now that's a worthw...

You can't add DAB to a non DAB unit as such. The hardware inside is not there for DAB radio. However, something like this might be of interest? Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a Passover unit to enable the RNS 510 to use Dab radio,

Met with my local dealers manager today, he said that VW haven't started to call owners of affected vehicles in yet,he didn't say if it was his dealership or in general, he did however say no instructions have been given by VW.
