bluetooth

Hi all, i'm new & just joined yesterday. I'm driving a bmt 2lt gt td 2011. I've noticed that you cant connect the phone to run hands free?
Is this something you have to buy additionally or is there any basic software etc already in the car that would allow you to be able to use your phone hands free. Any replies would be appreciated.

bluetooth was made standard equipment for UK orders placed after 1st August 2011. So if you haven't got it then you need to retrofit a kit there is nothing already built into the car. If you search retrofit bluetooth on the forum there will be plenty of existing threads to give you the why's & where fors of the different options available to you

Im the same, got mine almost a month ago. Finally got round to speaking to the dealer. Will update when i have more info.

Dealer got my Bluetooth sorted. No charge...

Installed a kit. Thought it might be the after market one with the seperate screen. But it wasnt.
Works really well through the stereo.
