How much would you/did you pay...

For your 2.0 TSI 210 GT DSG?
I've just been posted to Germany and I'm in urgent need (well not really, I just really want one) of a shiny new car and seeing as we (the army) get tax-free almost everything over here I want to take full advantage of this discount.
I'm looking at getting the 2.0 TSI 210 GT with the DSG gearbox in Salsa Red or Iridium Grey with no options, yes no options. Everything I need comes as standard although I'll probably end up getting a few options retrofitted in the future.
Now I've only had a quick chat with the stealer across the street and he's prepared to do this for £17,500 (Tax free + 10% off)
, nearly £10k off the list price. My question is how much did you pay for yours in the UK, so I can get a better idea of how much discount I can squeeze out of the stealer. Also, did you get the stealer to chuck anything in for you? I've never bought a new car before, so teach me your wicked ways.
The guy I spoke to quoted me that price off the bat with no haggling and basically told me 'that's yer lot, I can't budge it any further'. He obviously see's me as a young soldier with money to throw away (he's not far wrong) but I don't like getting mugged off when there's a good deal to be had...
