Xenon or not

Hi,
Looking for advice from you here.
Im about to place an order for a GT and have only added Cruise Control as an extra as the majority of my travelling is on motorways, but am undecided whether I pay the extra for Xenon or not.
I have Xenon on my other car and love it, but am already pushing the limits of what the boss :-) will let me pay monthly ( company car)
What are peoples opinions, both those with and those without.... Is it worth the extra £960
Cheers
Gregor

I know they are expensive but they are worth it in my opinion for the following reasons;
- you have them already so you'll miss them
- they look much better
- you get seperate DRL rather than dipped beam all the time and effectively no auto light function
- you get static cornering lamp
- you get LED number plate lights

On an unlit counrty road they don't half light things up. Well worth it

Like night and day, once you've had a car with Xenons you won't go back

I've had a car with xenons, it didn't bother me in the slightest but until 6 months ago I lived in London so must have put full beam on about 3 times a year!

I can understand not feeling the benefit in London, but if like me you live in the country and do a lot of night time driving on unlit roads they are invaluable

I have had xenon lights before on some of the rentals that I have driven at work, and they are good, but I dont think they are worth £960. If they were £500, then I probably would have ordered them.

Def get the xenons, they're worth it. Car look so much better, in addition to all the other benefits listed above. For me it was the first extra I ticked.
Missed xenons on my previous car, a Golf. Retrofitted xenons in the high beams, which actually made it possible to drive in the dark. A much safer ride indeed.
