...having got to within a few hundred pounds of what I thought was going to be a realistic and good price for a Roc 1.4 TSI I'm trying to order, I suddenly hear nothing more from my local VW dealer, who shall remain nameless but is part of a large dealer group - no replies to emails and no return of phone calls.
I'm genuinely stunned at the lack of customer service.
Thinking about going the Auto eBid route now and selling my current car privately.
By the way, first post etc, so Hello all and just to let you know that all your input has helped me greatly in deciding - Yes - I want a Roc and what I want with it!
Cheers!

I had that years ago with an MG dealer - it gave me great joy when they eventually called me back after 2 or 3 weeks for me to say I'd ordered it somewhere else
They are just idiots, a company is only as good as it's employees... just wait for them to eventually call back and then say you went else where - great satisfaction

same with my local garage so went down the road got about 10% off.
Gave them the opportunity to take the order and make a few quid but there focus (aparently fed down from head office) is to accept that new car sales are on there ass and to focus on extras like tyre protection etc. and used vehicles.. not sure if thats applie to all VW garages or wether he was telling the truth but he had no reason to lie.
