DRS Zone

Formula 1 drivers will be banned from using the DRS in the tunnel at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix after the FIA reacted to drivers' concerns.

DRS use will be free elsewhere during practice and qualifying and the overtaking zone will be laid out on the start-finish straight - because the more obvious tunnel area was too dangerous.

Them old F1 cars look much more fun to drive. Ragging it round like a go kart. Lewis' style is similar. Rather than fluid (ala Button), Lewis twitches and tweaks the wheel. Much less than Senna there of course.

Really hoping there will be a random winner here. Panis '96 style.

I like seeing to 2 videos playing together

I always like the lead up to this race but its usually pretty dull for such a glamourise setting.
Hope Schumi still pulls another good result. All they seem to do is try and put him down. If he wasn`t there the gossip would be boring.

Not taking over your role Kev. Maybe you just forgot it's Thursday's not Fridays @ Monaco??? ;)

So looks like Alonso is chomping at the bit for this. Rosberg is also having good practice sessions.

Just been very busy. Didn't leave work till 8 :(

Anyone's free to post up the info if they know it :)

The HRTs look well off the pace. I think they'll struggle to beat the 107% and I'm not sure the other teams will cast their discretionary vote and let them in. Monaco is such a tricky track that they won't want mobile chicanes coming round every 10 laps. The scrap for pole will be epic though.

Great race.

Pity the finish wasn't the exciting climax we were hoping. Seeing Button have 10 laps to try and pass Vettel and Alonso on old tyres would have been a sight to see. Great to see Williams get some points at the end. Good result for Kobayashi as well.

Quite irritating that race was. McLaren did the biz and oh for that bloody 1st safety car, a shake up in the standings.

i think mclaren are going to be having words with mr hamilton before the night is out, he may have been frustrated & rightly so in a number of cases but some of the things he said were bang out of order.
& I personally don't think they should have been allowed to change tyres on the red flag grid, making safe but not completely changing parts & tyres

to restart the race was pointless....20mins or whatever hold up and the tyres had lost all its temp and pressure. to make them restart on that would have led to 20 car pile up in the tunnel.

but it was a shame to have not seen the last 10 laps as it was and if Button could do Alonso and Vettel with their fast degrading tyres.

Still...it's a good points haul for Wild Bean Racing in the Fantasy League :D

Yeah i think Hamilton could be in some bother.

It was interesting to see Paul Di Resta's opinion of the race after he too had been in a couple of rubs. He just said yeah well, I made some mistakes, never mind, on to the next race. Hamilton always assumes it's the other guys fault. The one with Massa at the hairpin was a prime example. Massa was turning in tight to try and undercut Webber, not to block Hamilton in my opinion. And I'm not sure the pass on Maldonado was really on either.
