140ps TDI or 170ps TDI - how do I know ?

Hello everybody,
I took delivery of my 2.0 tdi GT Scirocco on Friday afternoon and I'm very pleased with it.
I ordered the 170ps diesel and i'm confused, inside the drivers door the info badge says that it is 140ps. Can anybody help me with this? is that the norm ?
I'm obviously concerned and would like to know how I can tell its a 170ps variant. Is there any difference in spec other than the engine ?
Please advise,
Thanks.

Look on the build sticker in the boot, under the carpet, where the sparewheel is. The sticker will have lots of codes on. It should say either "103KW" (which is 140PS) or "125KW" (which is 170PS).
On the back, the exhausts should be chrome capped, squared off (when viewed side on), rather than just a brushed finish single skinned pair of tubes cut to an angle (when viewed side on).
The "I" of the TDI badge should also be red.
Those are the only physical differences between a 140GT and a 170GT.
The sticker on the inside of teh drivers door is put there by the dealers to tell you when your service is due. If 140PS is written on, most likely the dealership technician made a mistake.

As maisbitt said, have a look inside the service book. There should be a sticker (also in the boot) that tells you the engine type and KW (output) rating (the 140 will show 103KW vs. 125kw for the 170).
Aside from the obviously engine and fuelling differences, I think the 170TDI should have chromed tail pipes and larger 312mm front discs (as opposed to the 288mm discs of the 140).
Apart from that I don't think there are any other differences.
