Slightly weird cleaning issue - Help/Advice Welcome

Hello All,
I had a bottle of flaxseed oil which was in the driver side pocket and unfortunately leaked down and dripped over the door sill.
I initially thought it was tar that was sticking to the underside and used some AutoGlym tar dissolver on patches but it obviously didn't seem to be very effective.

Flaxseed oil is a bugger to clean because of it's viscosity so I was wondering if anyone can recommend where to start. I know it's a strange problem to have so googling wasn't getting me anywhere.

You can see some pics and a sample of the passenger side for comparison.

Thanks

Whilst I can't suggest anything to remove it.

Just be carefull with the stimpled paint area. It's paint on a anti-stone chip rubber latex compound and the paint comes off much more easily than the metal body/bumper painted areas, particularly the peaks if its rubbed hard.

Exactly what I would have suggested. We use it at work and it's really good stuff even diluted.
