Valve body

Anyone had their Scirocco's valve body changed? I just got my ride 3 months ago & yesterday it jerked while I was driving on a highway. The DSG only registered D2, D4 & D6 and each time it changes gear,the car jerks. The EPC & catalytic converter warning lights were on at all times. I'm at my wits' end trying to figure out the problem - sent it to the service center today & was told that the valve body needs to be changed. Anyone had/has this problem?
