Where are all the rocs?

Where are all the rocs?

I am asking this because this weekend I've done a return journey from Glasgow to Manchester via the M74 & M6. On the way down on Friday afternoon I saw 3 rocs - 2 candy white and 1 black. On the return journey yesterday I saw 1 solitary RB roc. This says to me that the roc is still a comparitively rare car at least here in Scotland and the NW of England.

you just did not come far enough west... had you come to Warrington, you would find the placed litterally swapped with 5 or 6 in the town centre! I know most of them now, but not seen any of the elusive vipers in warrington. I am sure there is about 3 or 4 of them!

i guy said "nice Golf not seen one like that before" to me the other day.
My wife says that she has noticed people staring at the car when she drives it. " Of course i told her it was her they were looking at" gotta keep her sweet for sexy time.

Andy, you were less than a mile from my house. You should have let me know and I could have made sure you had another Roc for your spotted list

Over the weekend I drove from High Wycombe to Hornchurch. Spent a day driving around Essex. Drove from Hornchurch back to High Wycombe. Then drove from High Wycombe to Warwick and back... probably did a few hundred miles. Guess how many Roc's I saw? (Bearing in mind I was looking out to see them)

ONE!!! (Black on the M40 near Oxford)

I think they're still rare enough. :D

I see 2 white ones in the 2 streets that adjoin mine. i generally see 3 or so on the way to work (12 miles) Always white with the occasional black one. Then I pull into the works car park and see another. Thats a guaranteed 6 every day for me, non white ones are still quite rare though.

I've ordered my roc in High Wycombe too. Nubsy don't suppose you'd know how good that dealership actually is do you? I mean, do they stick to there delivery deadlines or?

Used to see a white one parked near me from time to time with a picture of a stormtrooper on it! :D We should start a High Wycombe Roc club! Hehe

I'm just off Hammersley Lane.

I'm from Booker in High Wycombe and work just off London Road. Drive a black GT. I like the idea of starting a High Wycombe Roc club lol!

And Cornelce, the answer to your question is no. Plus their Customer Service is s**t!

That's interesting to know. I bought mine from Twickenham as a friend of mine works there and was going to use Citigate in High Wycombe for my servicing etc. Maybe I should rethink that plan...

I think most Roc's live on the M42. Always see loads of them. I also saw about 5 including a fellow Viper in Burton on Trent last Saturday.

I work at sites all over the country and it's not uncommon to do a 300 mile drive and spot 0 Scirocco's.

A1M round Newcastle always seems a popular place though.

Ian_Mac: Yep, lots of Rocs around Newcastle. See more of them than MK6 Golf GTD/GTIs.
