Hi all
I'm driving a brand new Scirocco R in deep black. I've got it early this month but as expected some scratching terror is occured. I think that is beyond me to take over because r is expensive and it's remarkable on the street. Huh. Anyway so I'm quite considerable to remove the scratches somebody has done.
Can anybody recommend a repair kit or scratch remover for me? when I describe the condition of it, it's a hair line in even white with about 5 cm. Does the color of white mean showing the base color of the car?
I've found a repair kit from Halford which is made from VW, I guess, and was for the deep black.

Plz help me....... :(

TBH, if the scratch is that deep, I.e. through the clear coat, you would be better off getting this looked at professionally. If you can feel the scratch with your finger nail, these usually it means it's too deep to polish out or mask with fillers or glazes.

A good reputable car detailer however, can paint in the scratch with a touch up stick, then wet sand it back flush with the rest of the paintwork. When the paint is then machine polished, the scratch totally disappears. It's not for the faint hearted though wet sanding, and I would only ever recommend it be done by a professional.

Not as cheap as a bottle of polish, but much cheaper than having a panel resprayed at a body shop.

Have a look over on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sign up and post some pictures of the damage and seek advise from some of their experts. One of them may even be in your area and could come down to look at it and give you a quote. Some of them are total magicians, and the work they do sometimes frankly, unbelieveable.

Just a thought.

Thank you sootchucker.
Unfortunately I could feel it with my finger nail. I will leave it by itself until I decide to polish my car totally in the detailer. I have a plan to get it a glass coating, swissvax.. Something like that.
Cheers
