Blue im starting to think your house is like the VW part shop !! I would have thought you would have plumbed the bluetooth in long ago !!

Only got it today, i didnt use the phone much in the car enough to warrant the old prices, but as its got cheaper and cheaper i dont mind at this price :-

what is the price of the bluetooth kit now?

Its the whole thing, all you need to add Bluetooth to the car, and yes it works on a RCD510

ive just fitted VW's 9w7 to a RCD 510 with the help of shauns coding skills
iphone works on mine !!!
and samsung !!!
and nokia
all without deleting last user's , so what ever phone i take in the car it connects no problem !!!!

Yes the controls work on the wheel too

Is This the Fiscon set blue? The one which integrates with the RCD510 and the MFD?

I need this putting in my car as it would be very useful. Wasn't there a group discount or something to get this done for about the same price all in?

No, this is a VW OEM part that he's fitting.
I'm hoping he'll do a how to particularly wiring route as I may think about replacing the Fiscon unit with this, especially if I can get the voice commands working

Congrats blue, but how do you read the msg's on the screen or the mfd screen? Also can you reply. In my car (since I have the rcd510) I can only read the msg's on the mfd and can't reply. Anyway looks great in your car
On another subject, what camera did you use? Cause I have an Olympus 12 mega pixels and it sucks at taking pictures

Not tried the texts yet (wifes phone) as i have an iphone and texts no worky on iphone , my camera is the iphone one LOL, i have a Canon G12 though which is superb :-)

text message function only compatible with Rsap phones still, so no sms function on Iphone.

Looking good Shaun hope the coding I gave you was okay, I suspect it is has its used on most of the new VW BT systems.

It did indeed , it was a mare to find that there was no coding helper

Couple of questions:
- VW partnumber(s), 5N0035730D?
- (short) how-to
- does it work with the RNS310
- coding? What coding?
