1st service and a warranty job

Hi All,
I just had the car serviced for the first time today, and noticed that they didnt stamp the long life guarantee section, although long-life oil was used - it that correct?
Would hate to loose value on the car in a few years time because of a silly admin mistake.
Also, I had a rear rattle repaired under TPI 2023774/1 - does anyone have a description of what work would actually have been carried out to repair that?
Thanks
Andrew

What service regime is your Scirocco on - look at page 3. I guess its marked Long Life QG1. If so, the Interval service box (PR No.: QG1) will be ticked for the service on page 16.
There is no requirement like the "Volkswagen dealership stamp" in the adjacent box. With it being being stamped in the "service carried out by:" box coupled with the recorded mileage/date, the Sevice QG1 ticked and page 3 service regime indicated, that is sufficient evidence that the service was performed within the requirements of QG1. Your guarentee is until the next service due within the bounds of QG1.

They have adjusted the two sprung bump stops on the tailgate. Its finally been formalised in a Bulletin (TPI).

All VW cars at the factory are supplied with the longlife service oil no matter what service regime you opt for.
