I know this has been talked about quite a bit, but why on earth can the roc not have more discreet DRL's rather than dipped headlights! its so ridiculous on a sunny day!

Its not an issue for me, i very rarely drive on the outside of my car

Use a Vagcom and turn them off (if the stalk method doesnt work) or change them for some nice LEDs

if you use the stalk method to turn them off, are the little side lights then used as drls and the dipped headlights only come on when dark is detected? (as it should be in other words)

No, if you turn them off then nothing comes on until dipped headlights if switch on Auto and the sensor triggers the headlights, or you move the switch to side lights or head lights.

i think i will just live with it. but its silly.

what is this stalk method?
