Yesterday I bought a Scirocco. A 2010 1.4TSI 160bhp with DCC, DSG, RCD-510 and panorama roof. Candy white "of course"
Two pics from my cell phone:
Plans for it:
Tinted windows (after B pillar only!)
Dectane headlights with LEDs
19" EtaBeta Tettsut Inox White Cheramic (maybe..maybe something else)
Lamin-X (gunsmoke) tails
Lowering (any hints on what works with DCC?)
Some paint here and there
Some interior upgrades
and more to come

Congrats with the new car!
Do you have pics of the headlights you are planning?
H&R lowering springs (40mm) works with DCC they say.

Thanks! Feels really good, picking it up tomorrow or wednesday.
The headlights look like this:
They fit all Roccs (Mk3) with non-xenon headlights.
40mm sounds alot?! I dont like the slammed look. I´ll browse this forum and see what I find
Thanks!

Agree, 40mm is a lot. Think there are other springs that fit as well, but can't remember them now.
Remember to post pics when car has been picked up!

I have to look into it. I will wait for spring with lowering springs (pun intended) anyway..
Pics will come, I promise!

So, collected it from the dealer today, drove it straight to my work to change it to my winter set of tyres. Clearly needed in Sweden (by law!)...
So, here it is in winter clothes and not too clean, but still...

They are on their way, looking to get them next week if everythng goes to plan! Hope to get them on the car fast. Are the head lights easy to remove or do I need to remove the front bumper?

There's many posts on lights it seems on here but these are by far the most gorgeous ones I've seen. I'm sure someone will come along who isn't as thick as me and link you or just tell you how to sort it.

Those Audi look alike lights seem to be working well with the painted front bumper
question tho, what if one of the LEDs explode, vw won't replace it since it's not a factory light, so what do you do?

Didn't mean explode but like run out eventually, like a regulare light bulb (ie i saw a roc with only the left light working but not the right one) or it depends on the life of the battery in the car? (i know its a silly question)

As most things, it comes with a 1 or 2 year warranty. If one of the LEDs go out, I just put the VW headlights on my car and return the after market ones to the dealer and they will repair or exchange them... Of course my VW dealer has nothing to do with this since they didnt sell the new headlights..?!
LEDs last alot longer than normal bulbs, and normally chould last as long as the vehicle itself... If something goes wrong after the warranty time, I will have to sort it myself or buy new ones.. (Or put the VW lights back on..)
The battery in the car has not too much to do with this..

Mod nr 1 done.
Window tint (since I unfortenately didnt find a car with the OEM dark windows)
Excuse the not too clean car with my winter set of tyres...
Next mod will be the LED headlights, and then H&R lowering springs...coming up soon
