Dynaudio Question for the R

Hey everyone this is my first post so I apologise in advance for posting this in the wrong area or any mistakes. I currently drive a Black R which has all the extras apart from dynaudio I was wondering if there is anyway I could upgrade my sound system to dynaudio if I brought the parts? If so where would I be able to buy the parts?
If I am not able to upgrade to the dynaudio can anyone recommend a good alternative to upgrade it to?

Can I just ask are you prepared to remove your stereo, steering wheel top cover, speedo, light switches, remove door grab handles, door cards, rear cards, side trim, possibly passenger seat etc etc , if you don't mind then it can be done but it's hard work and will cost a lot of money, parts would only be available from VW or TPS, unless you find a scraped car with it all in, as for an alternative have a search on this forum as at least one member has done his own thing with his stereo.

Uh I didn’t realise that I would have to demolish most of my car to have it fitted. I think I will stick with the standard sound system it come with. Thank you for letting me know.

Blue made it sound like a episode of pimp my ride, if your gonna do all that, might as well put a drinks cabinet and pool table in as well !

I have Dynaudio in mine and im not all that impressed by it. I had a set of Focals 165VR3's in my R32 and they sounded much better. Pretty sure there are plenty of Car Audio specialist out there that would fit some aftermarket speakers/amp for you. If I had to spec my car again I would have not bothered with the DVD sat Dynaudio could have had something much better fitted for the cash...

Cheers I appreciate you opinion obviously not having Dynaudio I haven’t got a clue how good it actually is for the money. As you can probably guess im not a font of knowledge with this subject, Im currently searching for some aftermarket speakers but theres a lot of choice has anyone got any recommendations on makes/ modals and any good places to get it fitted where they wont wreck my car.

Im about to pick up my car, is there anything obvious which identifies that Dynaudio has been fitted, speaker label, system label or something? I did not get a chance to listen to the original system and I have not seen a model with the upgrade fitted.

There will be Dynaudio badges on each of the front door speakers and if you look under the passenger seat you'll see the 300 watt amp
I think you also see Dynaudio displayed at switch on if you spec the RNS510

cheers all. Its easy to check the other items but an upgrade sound system with no badges, could of been interesting.
