Scirocco Central

I have now been waiting about 3 months for my new Sumatra. It will hopefully be ready before xmas for collection...it has already been built in Germany and on its way over.

It is 2.0TDI GT, 140bhp, with dynaudio upgrade to stereo and rear parking sensor.

I have just a couple of questions for everyone on here if yo wouldnt mind helping:

1. I saw elsewhere in this forum that Bluemotion has now been added. Given my car was recently built, do you think my car will benefit from the new mpg economy?

2. The main thing I am interested in will be the stereo. It has been upgraded to Dynaudio, but I have to be honest I am not sure what this does? From VW website it just seems to say more speakers? Does anyone have the Dynaudio and if so is it much better?

3. If you plug an iPod in (I have read on here I should expect a cable?), does the touch screen convert into an ipod interface?

Any other useful tips appreciated!

um I do hope it hasn't been built there seeing as the scirocco factory is in Portugal

2. dynaudio provides uprated speakers

3. yes make sure you get the cable, when the ipod is plugged in the radio does allow navigation through the ipod track/album etc lists

Just like to add that Dynaudio also has a 300 Watt amp nestled under the passenger seat

Found out today that its not Dynaudio, its actually DAB upgrade. Nevermind. Have read all posts on here about DAB upgrade, mixed reviews it seems.

Its company car so wasnt sure what extras it came with.
