Hi guys

I have a week 42 2010 GT 140 Manual

Having gone through the forum I cannot figure out if my MFD should show the gear change indicator. Looking in the vw manual it is not clear either but I have seen some posts on here which suggest my car should have the feature (obviously as I am writing this I cannot see ye feature on any MFD screen or anywhere on the dash :) )

Can anyone clarify which models have this feature??

If you haven't got it don't worry about it, you're not missing much. I only have it on my 1.4 because it needed a software update, its not always helpful & I wouldn't miss it if it was removed again

But in answer to your question http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... f=4&t=3168" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; says the 140 & 2.0TSi from after week 45 2009 But thinks can change overnight & like I say you're not missing much.

Hi James

My week 42 GT 170 has the gear change indicator, not sure why i have it and you dont unless it is down to the engines. Very pleased with my car the engine has an amazing amount of pull, just waiting until I have done a few hundred more miles to really give it a go.
