transcend 32gb class6 SDHC works great in RCD 510

Just incase it is useful, £45 off amazon or so and shortly will have ALL my music in my car:)
for the most part it is sounding good on dyanuadio too. slightly less rich perhaps than cd's but some songs sound on par too.
good little card

How is the loading speed with so mutch gb ? does it load instant or take awhile
been thinking about this for my arriving R since am gnna use the sd card

There is an SD slot under the screen on the radio.

I got a 32gig SD card from amazon for £37.00, bought a USB SD card reader for £2.90, attached it to the usb lead you get with the car and it reads it in seconds. Great not having 3 folders worth of cd's in the car.

realy nice ,well i have one of those adapters that i got with buying a minisd card , so it should work with that i gues
. Have you ever tryed like ,using a external hardrive true the usb ?
or wouldnt it be posible

It should be possible as long as the 510 system can read the files, which in the case of music it can. Not sure about films and stuff like that. I have a 500g external drive that runs from USB that I back everything up with at home and to be fair it would be pretty conspicuous sticking out of the arm rest :o)

I use a "Freecom 33575 Mobile Drive Classic II 250GB USB2" it is small and fits perfectly in the arm rest. Currently £37.99 at Amazon.

Holy crap, thats a great price and idea. Wish I had thought of that over the SD card.
