Supercharger and turbocharger

Post by robmathieson »

Am I correct in saying that the 2.0 TSI has both a turbo charger and super charger?

Does anyone have any further information on these? How easy isn't to increase the turbo pressure?

Turbo pressure is usually increased via an engine remap to inturn increase performance.
Or some turbocharged cars can utilise a boost controller which will inturn alter performance, usually used along side a piggyback ecu

remap will cost between £300 to £600 depending which route you go and see results of between 250-265bhp, biggest difference will be the torque increase
