1.4 TSI

As a potential Scirocco buyer have tried the 2.0 TSI (very nice apart from a notchy gear box) and now the 1.4 TSI version. In terms of the latter, was impressed by the smooth power delivery (would never believe it was a 1.4 litre) and it seemed a bit more 'chuckable' down country roads (a bit lighter + smaller wheels?). The only let down was a rather plain dash but if you specify climate control + multi-function leather steering wheel you solve the problem by bringing the dash up to GT spec. I have driven 2 litre cars for many years but will certainly seriously consider the 1.4 if I buy a Scirocco.

I have ordered the 1,4 due to taxes in Norway.
The power delivery is as smooth as can be, I just want a bit more at higher revs. :)

MTM has software that brings the output of this motor of the year (2007) up to 205ps.

Hi. Went to Norway last year on holiday and think it's a great country. However, I prefer UK new car prices to those in Norway!
