Multi function steering wheel

After turning on my scirocco this afternoon the messge "Button for driver assistant system defective" appeared on the MFD for about 3 seconds. None of the controls on the steering wheel work, both the volume side and the control button side. Anyone experienced this before?

Have just checked and it seems to be a similar problem. My horn doesn't work either.

Hi Mine the same only 800 miles on the clock.. no function on the Steering wheel or cruise control. P*** Off. don
