All this coupled with the fact that its been so long since my test drive I've forgotten how good it is (I'm sure its good tho!) that and I haven't seen one salsa red one. Wanted a White one but I drive 50,000 miles a year and thought the cleaning might cripple me, is the red good, have I made a mistake?! We will know tomorrow (Hopefully!)

Live in Horwich (Near Bolton)....... (The North).. and that picture was taken on a particularly nice bit of road round the back of a hill called "Winter Hill!".

Sun came out later, so I gave her a Polish, and I must say the red looks fantastic, especially with the Black Bits on the front, now just need more excuses to drive nice roads :-)

Must say the Red is a very nice color - just have to take care of it cos it *can* fade.

Really..... What do you mean by take care? Polishing?!? Cleaning?!?

Matters slightly less as its a company car but still.

Well because - like the White also they tend to fade - the bumpers which are plastic tend to go a different colour the metal body work. Seen some real bad cases. And it doesn't just apply to VW. I had a Vauxhall that did it too.

A bit or wax protection, normally does the job!

is that not coz solid colours don't have the lacquer that metallic paint has?

I'm really please with the power, I think its probably the best diesel engine I have ever had.

MPG is good to.
