Scirocco Central

Finally I have ordered my candy white dsg Scirocco R. I have been told it will be september 1st delivery.
Have any of you managed to get any discount? After visiting many garages and being told not even one penny off . I finally got £700 discount and a free life shine. How does this compare ?

nothing. I didnt expect much on a car with 20 or so week wait

Nothing on the car. Tracker, lifeshine, GAP insurance and fuel was all i could get.

I got a stock car with £1200 off courtesy of a vw stock allowance in march. The book price for my gt that I traded in was 18k and I got 20.5k as well with 16k miles.

I managed to get £2500 discount on mine as I know the brand manager. I also was able to trade in my Honda Civic Type R at a decent price (more than Honda were prepared to offer) and he gave me a golf TDI to drive while I wait for mine to arrive. All I had to do was insure it. When the R arrives I'll just update the policy and pay the extra which isn't acutally that much.

My car arrives at the dealership this week after a 6 month wait!!

I got a nice discount - in the region of £2k I believe.

if only we all knew the managers at vw think i come and findyou if i decide to get one!

After a lot of pestering I managed to get Gap Insurance thrown in for free. Not a great deal but as I was going to pay for it anyway I'm happy. It is worth pushing them. 9 days and counting!

I managed to get £1500 off, plus a free Bury Bluetooth kit and free 3 year fixed servicing.

Was not easy though, it required alot of patience, haggling, research and shopping around.

Now all I need to do is sit back and wait (6 months)!

Mines 3 months old and I managed to get 5200 off list price on mine lol and a decent trade in figure!

Yeah a touch under 28 for it. 3k miles and I pick it up in 2 weeks time, cant wait!!

I've just placed an order for one, and got a 10% discount on the basic car, with extras at list price, using a broker. The order was placed direct with a main dealer, and the broker charged a flat £349 fee for the introduction. Very happy with the deal. Just have to wait now.................

Which Broker did you use? The car you have ordered (in your sig) is virtually the same car I would buy if I could get a decent deal.
