I have auto sol but to TBH I found it not that great so I bought a tin of Brasso Wadding which works an awful lot better .

I agree with Sam 63 about the Brasso wadding.

I let my pipes get very black at the bottom with caked-on deposits (naughty I know) and had real problems shifting it. In the end I resorted to trying some Wonder Wheels I found in the garage (don't let it near my wheels!!). Applied it carefully with a small brush, left it to soak and rinsed well with water, then finished off the remaining deposits with a Brillo pad and the Brasso. Sounds a bit drastic I know, but the result was great.

I won't be letting them get in that state again

Two products we recommend that are excellent at cleaning exhausts...

Duragloss Metal Cleaner and RaceGlaze Alutech. Both are great products, good value for money and achieve excellent results!

Hope this helps!
