Am not really convinced that the different chassis settings actually make a difference, I think I have been kidding myself. maybe they aren't working. Can anyone confirm they really get a noticeable change

Yeah, you should notice a difference. I was up in Yorkshire last weekend and the Sport mode made for a great drive through the moors.

Not sure I feel a real NOTICABLE difference. Missus was in the passenger seat at the weekend and said she felt a bit sick with it in comfort mode but ok in Sport mode...me, I could barely tell the difference, maybe im just crap...

I definitely feel a difference between the modes. I tend to keep it in Sport unless the roads become garbage.

There is definitly a difference but between the three modes it can be difficult to feel the change.

Going from comfort to sport is the best way to fell it. Steering wheel is much more heavy in "sports" mode and suspension gets harder to.

I my self has wondered why there is a "normal" mode as the "sport" and "comfort" mode pretty much covers the needs unless that the "normal" mode is more self adaptive than the two other modes? Does anyone know if it is so?

Normal, continously adapts to the road conditions and how you are driving, fast cornering etc.

Mine's permanently in comfort mode at the moment, as I don't want the tyres to take the full brunt of a pothole (already the victim of a bulged tyre) with a harder suspension setting.

I have changed this setting every other day and I feel no difference what so ever.

Maybe I must be on a track for anything to happen... dunno really

I will not pay extra for this on my next car.

I have to say, its not worth it as an extra I agree. Messed around with it again just now and seem to only see a real difference when going over really rough ground (potholes and the like) on a normal road comfort and sport show almost no difference.

I wish it was an option in this country, would've saved me a few pennies and I'd have probably been able to afford to buy new

Mine failed this morn. Just sport and comfort lights flashing toghether. Just stopped and restarted all ok.
Anyone else had this?

cant you feel how much heavier the steering is when you are in sport rather than comfort where its much lighter?

definitely get it in just for them to run a diagnostic on it then.

i'm surprised when people say they can't feel any difference between the different acc modes I certainly notice the difference of how much I feel the road through the suspension & the steering although thats more subtle imo.
mine is permanently in sport unless i'm driving the parents about.

Have to say I havent...unless I am really not paying any attention. Might take it for a spin tonight just to really check everything out.

Messed around with it on a bumpy part of the M40 today and yes it made a difference! Less bumpy on comfort. Steering still felt marginal though...throttle certainly seemed to pack a bit more punch.

Took it ito guys at Backdraft Motorsport today and def sensor problems front and back! Trip to the garage, they can also sort the bloody annoying boot release - great having a button that you have to press AND lift the boot so it releases, spring isn't strong enough and that's after the update!
