Apologies if it's already been covered elsewhere, but out of interest has anyone managed to secure a discount on a factory order recently. Just want to check before I potentially end up paying over the odds. I know there are some internet deals but not sure if these are entirely genuine.

same here but I'm sure if you find a dealer with one sitting in stock you'll probably be able to chip something off the price assuming you're not too fussy about colour / spec.

I never got a penny off mine and I was told that it was because VW was not allowing dealers to take money off it because it was limited allocation but that was back in mid Nov i suppose. Not sure if that was just rubbish but I certainly tried my best but led to nothing. Always someone else ready to take your potential order because of the spec of the car and limited number I'm assuming

I'm getting a full tank of petrol pre-increase price +15% Vat on mine expected sometime next week

I got £2k scrappage and got them to pay the extra VAT as my order was pre Dec and pick up on Thursday.

Having been down to have a look at the car - just so much better than I was expecting! The pictures just don't do it justice.
