RIM Blackberry Bold 9700 and Premium bluetooth NEW problem!

I have been happily enjoying my Bold 9700 with the connection to my premium kit for at least 3 or 4 months now. This evening driving back home from work I decided to update my telephone book as I always do once a month or so. I found that that the connection "dropped" i.e. lost connection to the car.
The Premium kit then immediately attempts to reconnect which it does successfully as the phone gives up the sim access fine. BUT as soon as it reconnects the damn connection drops again. This just goes on now in an endless cycle!!!
I have tried all the usuals.
1. switch the car off, remove battery and sim from phone then attempt connection - same problem
2. delete pairing on car he reintroduce phone - same problem
3. delete paring on phone only repair same issue
4. delete pairing on phone and car then re-pair still no joy
5. do 4. above then 1. above still same problem!
Can anybody help with this?
