1st & 2nd would be better ! :D

It's a shame WhatCar and everyone thinks so highly of the Audi TT. Though I was tempted to get one until I realised I couldn't physically fit in the back seats, and nor could anyone else... Oh and the Roc offered the same performance, more practicality and decent looks for thousands of pounds less!

It is strange that when you click on the review, that it says 3 star and that the diesel is noisier than the petrol, but depends on which model if you look at the manufacturers data. Infact, the 170PS Diesel with DSG is the quietest. Not sure if these are idle dB ratings or at xxxx rpm though.

That's because it's a very good car. PS - Roc doesn't offer same performance. It doesn't handle quite as well as is a teeny weeny bit slower.

That's a good result - two positions!

Both versions of the diesel are quieter during running (but are noisier at idle) due to the diesel having higher gearing. TDI does 80mph in 6th at 2050rpm, The petrol versions are more likely to be doing around 3000 - 3500rpm at 80mph in 6th.

So Whatcar say the roc has a "dinky boot"

how come I can get 2 full size hardshell suitcases and 2 handluggage bags in the boot of the roc, but couldn't in the "family hatch" Seat Leon I had before?

roc boot is bigger than a golf r32, its the most practical imparactical car you can own imho

I'm obviously missing something here. So how can the Roc appear twice in the top 5 list ? Is it a misprint ?

Its been up there unchanged for a while so I would have thought if it was a mistake they would have fixed it. But also with all of them it is referring to the car itself rather than a particular model..

They've fixed it! The Bentley Conti GT is now 4th, the 'Roc is 2nd after the TT. Still a very good result. As to the dinky boot, when comparted to a Bentley Conti or a Jag XK, it probably is... ;)

Just followed the link at the start of this thread and found my way to What Car's valuation page.
Now I don't belive this but it say my '09 1.4 TSi 160 with 14K on the clock is worth £17,600 (private sale) - from original list price of £19,600.

What ! Its only lost £2000 in 18 months ? And I got a 10% discount when I bought it so I only paid about £17,600 (before I added extras) ...... so its not lost ANY value over that time ??

Sounds great but I think they need to review their figures.
