Feeling VERY sorry for myself

Here I am, with an order placed with VW on 2nd November, still awaiting a confirmed build date The lovely lovely pics posted of the blue above have really depressed me! But FABULOUS car!

Last thing i heard from my dealer was unconfirmed week 12 and dealer does text me everyday! It moved forward from 15 but then back from 9 I am sooooo sick of VW's lack of organization here! I am also a bit annoyed with myself that I have allowed myself to get angry again! Just keeping my fingers crossed that there isn't another order at the same dealer that is ahead of me!

How many of us are still dangling by a thread with no clue when they will get their car? How many in my club?

Me I feel absolutely gutted today, after all my moaning about people ordering alot later than me and getting an earlier build week, it seems to have come and bit me in the ass. I just called VW and I have now gone from week 12 to week 14!!!!!!!!! I want to cry.

one thing i would say about both your orders....is that they're both DBP with DSG and have options that may be the cause of the delay.

I only added 3 options to mine and they're all cheap and cheeful ones. But you have Pana Roof on one and the other has all the trimmings! So I would say thats where the problem is. I'm sure it'll arrive eventually once the bits are in and they can build it.

So stick with it.

But yeah, a lot of the later builds so far seem to have the panoramic roof

I will sell my rising blue manual for £33k when I get it on Friday!!!. Order placed mid November. No I won't sell, just a bad sense of humour. I do sympathize with those waiting and am sorry to hear of the frustration. I would be hopping mad. Why can't VW Head Office get a grip and at least give an explanation. Considering the price of the cars a little more customer focus would be good for customers and long term business. Who would think we are in a recession worldwide and that UK new car sales in Jan were the lowest since 2005. Good luck to all those in waiting. It will be worth it.
Went to see mine on Monday (too tempting) which was parked in a dark underground car park surrounded by pillars and other cars. Photos pretty bad and not really publishable. Will try again when my "baby" comes home.

Hi, i can definately feel your pain. I was on build 17, then 12, then last week 11, and as of yesterday now 13. Mines DSG, White, Sunroof, so maybe it is the dsg or roof doing it : (

Well mine Is Candy White DSG, with everything Bar panno roof, Hill hold, parking sensors and electric seat. its confirmed BW9.

But Ladyroc if its unconfirmed BW12 at the moment, BW are usually confirmed around 4 weeks b4 build so I think you will get a confirmed BW soon.

Mines manual rising blue WITH pan roof and every other extra bar 6cd changer and i have confirmed build week 8 which is next week .........hope they haven't built it without the sunroof

I have just had a bit of a nightmare with me dealer. My sales person left and nobody decided to tell me. Also my build week got moved to build week 15 the manager does not think I will see it till june. As you can imagine im more than annoyed. The black one in the other dealer is now sold, and they have just had a blue one come into stock with no customer. Im very tempted

I ordered mine end of November with the Pano Sunroof and im picking mine up tonight.. Went and had a look on saturday and they have build it with the sunroof (pheew!!) so i dont think its that thats held the other up perhaps the DSG?

Its gotta b the DSG, although I think they've built a few with DSG, there must e a delay on the DSG boxes, or they must e modifying them cos of the mechatroncis problems....I'd be asking for some sort of compensation, and i'd also e ensuring you only pay 15% VAT due to the time taken to complete you order!!

If it helps - mine is bw 9 and I asked for them to cover the cost of the extra 2.5% VAT and they have agreed - delivery due end of the month (I hope!)

I looked into this with mine last year & it is very unlikely that you will get anything until you have been waiting at least 20 weeks

Still nothing here!

In fact I have asked dealer NOT to keep me informed as the weeks are just jumping all over the place! He's just ringing me when my build date is confirmed and as yet.. it isn't!

I nearly cried on my way home tonight as I drew level with a 10 plate white roc. Thought for a moment it was an R but it wasn't! I will be sooooo jealous if I see one on my local roads before I get mine!

Feel for ya LadyRocR...its not good that you've still not got a confirmed BW. shocking.
