2010MY GT Spec MDI or CD Auto changer or Both

I've Just ordered a 2.0L TDi GT 170ps and was wondering if anyone has taken delivery of one and exactly what media devices are fitted on the car as standard?
It's a bit confusing what is supposed to be supplied on the 2010MY specification, according to the VW brochure price list and configurator the GT and Standard Scirocco comes with both the MDI and the CD auto-changer but reading other posts this might not be the case on the pre 2010MY specification.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

The 510RCD player has a built in 6CD in-dash slot, aux in, ipod, USB and SD card reader.
You can spec a CD changer that goes in the arm rest but tbh an SD card, ipod or USB stick are much simpler more versatile options.
Oh you can also read mp3 CDs so you can get a couple of hundred tracks on one CD in folders/playlists.

as Kev says if you have the RCD510 you have a CD changer built into the head unit, it is only when you spec the satnav (RNS510) that you lose the CD changer or MDI

glad to be of service richwill.
on a side note I notice you have included phone prep, I presume it is the factory fit, have you checked this functions with your mobile? phones need to have rSap functionality. (not an exhaustive list but gives you a fair amount that do work

Funny you should mention that but I've just had to call the broker and cancel the phone prep as unfortunately I've got and iphone and Apple in their infinite wisdom have decided not to support rSap functionality and it doesn't look like they're going to anytime soon. I'm not sure who is worse VW for using that system or apple for not supporting it, seems crazy as they fully support iPod connection to the RCD510.
Do you know of any good aftermarket handsfree kits that support the iphone?
Thanks

good aftermarket kit: fiscon! I believe it supports the iPhone, I don't see why it wouldn't but i'm not very techie. they have their own sponsor section (
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... m.php?f=43) if you want to ask any questions on it but someone might come along & advise here in a moment...
at least you are saving that cash rather than adding something else on.

I took delivery of my build week 2 last week, just to confirm it does have the 6CD head unit.

The common consensus on here is that the Fiscon system is the best aftermarket bluetooth setup you can buy for the Roc. I'm having mine fitted soon and I'll post up some photos and a review once it's done.

Beware, if you have an iPhone 3GS. Mine worked fine for my Blackberry but now I'm having issues.
