Mirror problem

Post by Deacon »

Hello,

Had a strange one with my 'roc tonight - the mirror control knob when set in the left position does the left mirror, fine. However when set in the right position it will only do both the left and right mirror which is a complete PITA! Anyone had this. or have any ideas what's wrong?

Yep, tried that a couple of times and also left it for about an hour and a half and tried it again, still the same :(

Maybe switch between the mirror modes and back again in the convenience menu. Only got my Roc yesterday so still learning, might be worth a try though.

I was going to suggest the convenience menu but you can't without the highline computer. Looks like it's a trip to the dealers.

Mine does this.. It's a setting in the connivence menu. I think the idea is that you adjust the right mirror and the left one will adjust at the same time. It's useful to me when my wife's been driving the car, I just adjust the right mirror and the left one adjusts as well without me needing to touch it.

Deacon has the 1.4 without highline computer (like mine) which does not have the ability to access the convienience menu.

As Trix has pointed out I do not have the highline computer, and as the mirrors went from working properly in the morning to not in the eveing with nothing else happening clearly there has been some sort of glitch. Also, the way that both mirrors adjust is not in a useful way as I understand the conveniance setting does - when adjusting the right hand mirrors the left hand mirror ends up all over the place.
