Scirocco Central

Went in to work today for the first time since i got my roc. No one had a good word to say (apart from the girl on reception she's quite bonny!).

My colleagues reckon it looks too flash! And?

No good for families! Erm i don't have one.

No room in the back. I don't sit in the back

Looks like any other car. So why are you knocking it then if it looks like any other car?

The admiring glances and double takes tell me it must be quite a nice car me thinks.

I've only had good comments about mine from friends though.

Fine for young families, with plenty of room in the back.

Not all of my friends like the rocco, lots don't seem to like the back end, one called them ugly bread vans (but he has a focus st and loves fords...)

Exactly. It's why i ordered mine. I happen to think the back end looks great...really wide and sporty.

To me it looks great from every angle. It is a fabulous looking car..very distinctive.

Half expecting this myself, got mates who will love it and sure will have good words to say, the jealous gits will likely say nothing or state crap like that to pull you down. Human nature eh?

I think it is one of the best sports cars (in this catagory) out there at the moment. It has everything, its unique, classy, distinguished and sporty what else could you ask for. Sometimes my friends tell me that my car isnt as nice as an r32 or a cupra r but hell they always compare mine to faster cars, and yet theres are only around 140hp even lower .........But by the end of the day, all the bad things they say make you like the car even more

If you really want a decent looking coupe thats REALLY ugly from the back, look no further than than the Volvo C30. God it's horrible!!!

For the first time today I was driving beside another Scirocco in white, I could help but say wow this car looks amazing on the road. It looks even better than I imagined....

Its not ideal for my two kids, due to its two doors, but once they are in the back there is loads of room.

Numerous people have commented on the car at petrol stations etc. So far only in a postive fashion

But yeah, I have mates at work who dont like the looks; luckily I think it looks great.

I can't believe how many people comment on the Roc! Every car park I go into the attendants always ask questions about it, although most think it is the new Golf! They all love it though.

Agree slightly on the rear, I think the front looks brilliant but wasn't too sure on the rear until I got mine - now it looks great from all angles! I've had nothing but positive comments about it and love it more and more every day!

I'm expecting the same kind of treatment in a few weeks when mine gets delivered.

That is really true many ppl ask me if its the new gti at gas stations and i dont feel like explaining so i just tell them yes sadly

One I get alot is "a Scirocco, I didn't know they were making them again".

Great car, really, really pleased with it (always wanted the original when I was growing up). Lots of positive comments, as for space I got a family of 4, plus Labrador and kit in for a long weekend over New Year! Not bad in the snow either which I wasn't expecting....

As a car when I look at it in my drive I go yeah that look ok! When im driving and see another one on the road I think it looks amazing something about the low stance it takes....

Took one of my jealous colleagues for a spin in it today (she asked). Changed her tune completely! Now wants one

I did a home visit on a patient today who was more interested in the roc than the advice i was trying to give him about his heart condition!

He reckons he wants one and won't have to wait months for his. He does drive a Bentley though so he may have some financial clout!
