Can I have your keys please mate?

Parked up this morning at my workplace and a security man came over wearing Hi-viz jacked at said, "Hi Mate, could we have your keys please, just incase we have to move your vehicle given the conditions at the moment". He looked at me quite dead pan, but then I saw another security man having a chuckle. I was initially quite worried and not willing to hand over my keys at all, but I thought it could be genuine.

Then the first security man said, only joking, that is a fine motor and started peering through the windows and asking me how it compared to the original Scirocco

Not the first time this has happened, nice to get that kind of attention, so long as it is from decent people, rather than those that begrudge you having your pride and joy that you work so hard for!

nice one. When iread the title i thought you gave your keys to a "valler" or one of your friends and then they totaled the car. But still its a nice to see people appreciating the new roc...

yeah, i was accosted by a guy in a car park who asked if he could have a shot , turned out the guy owned the 997 Turbo parked next to me. He siad he was pissed at paying 90k for his and everyone was looking at mine

i also got asked to move it a wedding show in Scotland as the guy who owned the fancy car hire company got pissed off say "No , we can hire that thats not one of our cars"
