Scirocco Central

Hey Guys...here's Rocky! Just picked the car up fresh from the garage, only done 2 miles in it and its started to snow so I daren't go out lol.

Attached some pics of the interior so you can see the Wk 45 changes...steering wheel and climate control console (standard)...oh btw its got the RCD510 stereo that people have been chatting about.

Why not pop it in the garage and give it a coat of wax while you wait. The roads are pretty messy with salt as u know. Makes it easier to clean.

Well I was given the Autoglym package free of charge by the dealer (much to my surprise!) so its already sparkling. And the car is too big to fit in the garage, so it'll have to stay on ther driveway.

Looking good! First pictures I've seen of the standard MK6 climate control.

Ashley, not sure if i've got the standard climate control cos i'#ve got heated leather seats. Not sure how the design of the unit changes when they are no heated seats?!

It doesn't change. The heated seats are operated by pressing the button that controls the temperature

I was wondering that too. I've seen that colour scheme on a Golf, but never on a Scirocco.

I've got it on a Wk43 Scirocco. You can select and change from 3 colour options in the RCD510 menus. No need for VAGCOM to do it.

I dunno . It was during the first week of having the Scirocco.

Just had a play and can't find the menu. All I remember is having three colour combinations selectable and then leaving it on the one I preferred. It was the day I chucked the RCD510 handbook in the back of the car and started to play with the buttons instead thinking..... don't do this while your driving!

I've also checked my Multi-Function steering wheel controls - nope.

Yeah please let us know where you can change the colour. I've looked. Can't find. I'm sure I seen a post where is says you can only do this via VAGCOM but if it's been done before without then......

I've given up after numerous keying sequences trying to reproduce what I got upto. On the day I was holding down the side keys while tappig the screen buttons. Defeated.
