Decisions Decisions

I have been considering changing my White 2.0ltr GT 14 months old for a new Scirocco due to the high residual values. The dealer has just quoted me £4,500 to change to a brand new factory order!

With the new VAT Rate as of Jan that add £472 to the price so lets say £5000 to change. At that money I wouldnt bother!

Here comes the interesting bit he has a Salsa Red in the show room with parking sensors its mine for £1,400.

The colour is the only thing that might put me off any views welcome....

PS I have also been informed there is a price rise as of the 01/01/10 of 2.68%

Salsa Red never really caught my eye until I saw these photos...

Think it's looks particularly well with the 'Spa' alloys (then again, I think that 'Spa' is by far the best of the 17's used on the 'Roc, almost as nice as Inters).

Not sure if this one's been lowered or not?

Personally, if the car is only 14 months old, I wouldn't bother to swap, especially if is ultra low mileage. £1,400 to swap does seem a bargain though, especially if the salsa red car has a similar spec. to yours. Is this the new 210PS model?

I would be soooooo tempted!!!

AND, Salsa is a bit (how can I say) rarer than Candy.... Hesitate to say more exclusive.

Phoned up about the Salsa Red Scirocco this morning and its sold, I guess I’m going to have to just wait on the order book to open on the R20's again!

Dealer has stated this might not be until May/June of next year better get saving....
