Hello all,

Had my Roc for a week and a half and am loving it!

However, it does not seem to save some of my settings or preferences, for example, the rear view mirror needs turning off everytime I start the car again (I prefer it off most of the time) and on the radio/DAB if I select it to show the radio station information it will, until I turn the car on the next time and it is showing the station list again.

Also, how do the coming home lights work? I have them turned on but they don't seem to light up? In my old car they came on once you'd locked the car? And the leaving home lights seem slightly intermittent, will they only work at night or should they come on regardless of light levels?

I have read the manual but can't seem to find any of this info, unless I'm missing it

As regards the coming home lights, turn off engine, remove keys, flash lights by pulling indicator stalk back. Lights will then turn on when you lock the car.

the rear view mirror I seem to think it does auto reset & has already been mentioned

I couldn't find anything that reversed the logic to be initially OFF, and come on when switched. Instead I put a small almost totally darkened filter in the green illuminated window. Seems the sensor is only in the other non-illuminated window.

Made the filter from the darker end of a black tint "Fade-In Sun Strip" off-cut. The effect during the day is it hardly visible and not needed anyway. At night illumination is at the same level as the ON/OFF button on the mirror, with a speckled effect. Much less distracting now.

The hole isn't quite square in shape but with some carefull cutting to shape, the little filter will tuck in between the mirror body and the green illuminating window to secure it in place. (Be careful though, the small filter can easily be totally pushed inside the mirror body!)

Couldn't you just colour in the light with a black marker pen?

True Kev, just had some film lying around and it gave pleasing speckled effect.
