I think that metallic silver is a bit of an underrated colour, could look nice on the R. I seen a silver roc today and did look nice.
...not as nice as the blue mind

I've gone for Reflex Silver because it's just an easy colour to live with.
I'm also not a huge fan of car polish & silver looks good even after a quick wash.
But this is mainly because I live out in the Scottish countryside and my access road is used by tractors & all sorts, so it's usually always dusty or muddy and I'm fed up spending my days constantly valeting my car, for it to be filthy within minutes of driving the car away from the house!
Having never seen a silver Roc on the road, I was well impressed with the Silver 2.0TSI in the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show picture gallery.

I'm also considering getting the new Scirocco treated with one of those specialist glaze products that are 'supposed' to keep your car looking cleaner for longer!
So I'd be grateful for any recommendations from existing Roc owners.
Plus, a Silver Scirocco won't look out of sorts parked next to my Silver Mk5 R32
Later Folks,

It was a close thing for me, silver is a great colour i think.
I had lifeshine on my last roc and exterior paint protection didnt seem to do much as i still have a couple of faint scratches on my bonnet ...i am suspecting a neighbours cat sleeping on it!
But if you have leather seats i would highly recommend it as i think the interior protection works very well.
If no leather seats i wouldnt really bother.
Dealers offer it for around £300 but you should get it down to 200 without a fight, even lower if you can be bothered.

Hi Trooper, martinjrose is asking about colours for the Scirocco R, as this is in the Scirocco R Talk section. The full range of colours of the Scirocco are not available for ordering the R

yeah I really like the blue but not seeing one in real life is a problem for me, I know black is a sweet colour for the rock, my old one was black, and i did not like the blue in the normal roc, its to light, althought for some reason it looks good on the R, but just feels a bit hairdressery, but i do like it and im still unsure about my choice
